Homepage in beta 1 release
It's been a while since my last update here. Many things happened, I was extremely busy with school, most of the time away. But the good thing is: I had my degree at university and passed it with success. This means, no more school for me and that's something great.
At the moment I am again kind of busy with my work on phpLD, need to do all the stuff I couldn't do while I was away. Anyway, finally I said it's time to do something as I did not had any logo and the site was lacking here and there of basic functionality.
Some time ago, Dark Oaki made a nice logo for me. It was on the site here for a time, but left it out as I have another idea for it. So I've spent my last night reading tutorials for designing logos and badges. This is what came out:

How did I finally found the time for this? Don't know either. Guess it was Andreea who asked me if I can make a homepage for her. She needs one to present her work as photographer. While looking at some web galleries and photo blogging tools, I've found Cheesecake Photoblog, played with it a little and installed it here on my homepage. So I said it's time for a logo, made that too, fixed this and that..here and there. This is what came out so far.
Some of my friends that I've asked don't like this design of the whole page. Doesn't matter anyway, I am finally happy with it, I really like it. Need to add some more things (not ready yet writing all that stuff) and my creation is perfect :)
Sorry for Internet Explorer users, if you have problems browsing my homepage, don't blame me but blame Micro$oft! Yes, I do designs that work good in all browsers, and this one does it probably 99% too, but I won't make custom hacks just because you who are reading and using IE are too dumb to choose something better. No, I am not rude this time.
The BETA badge and name are not just for fun, the site is and will always be probably in a continuous development and never 100% complete. So I call it beta. You have probably seen many betas around the web, most probably because of this web 2.0 thing, but I've like the description by Flickr who said their system is beta, so I've done it too. It's not just for adding a badge.
