Personal:
My name is Constantin Bejenaru, but I am also known as Boby.
I was born 30.01.1984 in Sighisoara, a small, medieval and very beautyfull town in Transylvania. Sighisoara is located somewhere in the center of Romania. I've studied at the Babes-Bolyai University, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science in Cluj-Napoca.
I am web designer and web developer. Web standards, accessibility and usability play a major role for me when writing XHTML pages and styling them with CSS. When developing dynamic pages, I use only PHP and the MySQL database. I try to put an accent on security and clean code.
My favorite operating system is Linux. Yes, I used many years Windows, but since a friend of mine recommended me once the other OS, I switched almost instantly. CentOS and Fedora Core are my preferred distributions, both based on RedHat.
Photography is my new hobby, but I also like to play football and basketball.
Work:
Currently I am working as web developer at a Romanian company in my town.
Late autumn, 2005 , I met the owner of a great web software, PHP Link Directory. I started with some small changes and improvements to the software, and come so far that now most of the code in the later version(s) of PHP Link Directory is mine. It's a very cool software, and I really like to help on such a great project.
In the past I worked as a freelancer and for a german company as developer, but also designed some pages for them. It was ok, it was actually the place were I started thinking about security, well formed and clean PHP code because I've never seen such a horrible coding style like there. Really no offence guys!

About:
Frozenminds is the place where I share my thoughts about things that I find useful to me and hopefully to others. The main articles are and will be about web design and web developing with PHP and MySQL but also XHTML and CSS. I will focus un publishing tutorials and tricks but I also release code pieces as plugins (modules) for different web applications and custom themes. The rest will be all about me and my life, for meeting new people and friends.
Technology:
This site is built on a W3C valid XHTML 1.1 structure and pure CSS is used for the style.
To have a smooth presentation, you will need a modern web browser like Firefox, Opera, Safari or Camino. I will give my best to make it as most I can accessible to Internet Explorer users.
The backend system (CMS) I use is MODx with a whole bunch of plugins, some written by me and the rest from the great MODx community.
